Dr. Yuly Gorodisky, D.O., F.A.C.O.S. He completed his undergraduate studies with a Cum Laude degree from the University of Miami in Florida. He graduated with Honors at the top of his class from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed a five-year residency in general surgery at Wyckoff Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, an academic affiliate of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He also completed a plastic surgery residency in Philadelphia and is currently board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

My greatest achievement:
Over the years of growing and developing my practice and refining my surgical skills, the greatest achievement is not a specific event, but an overall accumulation of positive energy and happiness that has been produced by patients whom I have treated. This achievement is getting greater each day.
What is the future of your field?
The future of cosmetic plastic surgery is less invasive and shorter downtime treatments that can achieve great results. Technology has made some great breakthroughs already, but there are more advancements every year.

The biggest misconception about my field is...
With the prevalence of social media, patients often mistake filtered and photoshopped photos for real-life results. They also don’t always realize that there may be some time after the procedure is completed to appreciate the results due to the body’s healing process.
My most requested procedures:
My most requested surgical procedures are high-definition liposuction with fat transfer, mommy makeover, and breast lift/augmentation. For nonsurgical (or minimally invasive) the most common procedures are the Ylift/ SurgYLift, Ellevate, and nonsurgical rhinoplasty.
What surgical advancement are you most excited about?
I recently added Avéli to my practice to treat cellulite. I am excited to combine this treatment with other modalities to help improve this very common concern.

What are you best known for?
When patients get great results, they are very happy to refer their friends and family. Over my years in practice I noticed several growing groups that know me for breast augmentation results, others know me for my high definition and BBL results, and there are some that know me as the Ylift/nonsurgical specialist.
What is your most memorable patient reaction?
One of my early patients in practice underwent breast augmentation. What sometimes is known to be just a physical change, this procedure did more than that, her confidence, her posture, her clothing, and even her walk changed. When I saw her at her last post-op visit she had she exuded so much confidence and was so happy with her body that her happiness shined throughout.
What sets my practice apart?
My main goal is to have happy patients. Sometimes it means they won’t be my patients. If I feel that their results will not be satisfactory, I may turn away patients or recommend that they not undergo the treatment. This is my key to a successful practice. I am my patient's advocate and that means they trust my recommendations.

What I love most about my profession:
I love the variety of treatments and skills I have accumulated. There is always
more to learn requiring you to stay sharp.
Career-defining procedure?
There is no one procedure that can define my career. Of course, some surgeons build their careers on only one type of surgery, but I cannot do that. My happy place is the variety of procedures I perform. I have limited my practice however to my most common procedures: high definition liposuction and BBL, mommy makeover/tummy tuck/breast lift/augmentation. And for the face/neck, I focus on a less invasive approach with the Ylift and SurgYLift.
What are you most excited about?
As my surgical practice has become very busy, I have added several excellent aesthetic specialists to my practice who perform various injectable and laser treatments.
